Morning! Paper crafting is a truly rewarding, and relaxing thing for me to do, do you feel the same about it? I know just how popular it is - not only because it is so accessible, but it is also super forgiving, versatile and fun! I just love how I can transform a flat pretty piece of paper, into something completely different. I had a lot ot fun designing this project for you in the Paper Crafting Retreat - I actually designed it based on a handbag I had when I was younger that I still love to this day (even though I can no longer use it because it's basically dust now ๐ ). That's one massive advantage to paper crafting, over the years I have learned many techniques, and projects that allow me to re-create things from my past that I loved, and I can re-create them as many times as I want - forever. Because while the project itself might be so well loved that it gets used over and over again until it literally crumbles to dust... the skills I learned can never be taken away from me! Events like this really help expose us to new projects, new techniques and fun ways of making things. We get to revisit things we loved in the past that we might not be able to use anymore, or no longer have, and they are able to hold the same kind of space in our hearts. It's the kind of thing that we have a personal connection to, that really makes us connect with a craft, and open us up to new projects we can add to the list. So while this project has a sentimental place in my heart, I hope it can bring joy into yours too, and I am way excited for you to be able to make it.
