It's no secret that I am obsessed with stencils, and I use them in so many different ways because they are so versatile. But on the weekend, I finally ventured into the wide world of mixed media under the watchful eye and guidance of some of my incredibly talented friends who make the most spectacular projects.

I got to scratch through her extremely extensive stencil collection (seriously, it makes me SO jealous!!), and added a few elements on this piece that really round it out; I am specifically referring to the splatters around the edges.

So of course now I need to make my own paint splatter stencil to add to my collection too, but I have a very easy and fun method of making stencils - so instead of me sharing the stencil, I really want to equip you with the tools to be able to make your OWN.
